This is a handout made for the Norwegian tea group. It is a summary list of the aisatsu and things to keep in mind in the tea room.

Behaviour in class
  • When someone is doing temae, please pay attention to what he/she is doing, as the teacher expects you to learn from what the other students are taught.
  • Avoid talking while another student is practising, especially about unrelated topics.
  • If you have a question, please ask it to the teacher and not your fellow students.
  • During the lesson one student should ask the teacher if he wants tea and sweets.
