Dear tea friend.
I would like to invite you to participate at tea practice on saturdays. The goal of the group is to study how to be a host as well as a guest at a Chaji (tea gathering).
The reason for having another group in addition to the one at the association is:
- to be able to practice more often
- have a smaller group for more intense study (no more than 5 or 6 students)
This group will focus on issues related to Chaji. We will start by studying the following temaes in this order:
- Other Konarai
We will meet for practice on Wednesday from 16:00 and every other Saturday from 15:00. It might be possible to have extra practices, but these will have to be arranged on a case by case basis.
I will teach in norwegian or english (some japanese) depending on the individual student.
I have a Nijo Nakaita (2 tatami and a board) tea space located at Lersolveien 16. This is within walking distance from Berg station on subway line 3 (Sognsvann direction). Total travelling time from Oslo S according to Trafikanten.no is 22 minutes.
I will charge a fee of 100 NOK for each time, to cover among other things tea and sweets.
What is Chado Norge:
Chado Norge is a small tea organization run by Marius Frøisland. The main activity of Chado Norge so far has been the web page http://wiki.chado.no with information about tea in english.
